Privacy Policy

Short version

Tendril is built for private, local-first mind mapping. The app does not require an account, does not upload your maps to a Tendril cloud service, and does not share your map content with AI companies.

Website

The public website is a static site. It does not use analytics scripts, advertising trackers, or tracking cookies.

Beta requests

The beta request form is provided by Tally. If you submit your email address, it will be used only to notify you when the free macOS beta is available to download. Do not include sensitive information in the form.

The Tendril app

• Your maps are saved as local files on your own device.
• Tendril does not require a Tendril account.
• Tendril does not use your map content for AI training.
• Tendril does not send your map content to AI companies.

Data you choose to share

If you request beta access, your email address will be used only to notify you when the free macOS beta is available to download. If you separately contact Tendril or send feedback, the information you provide may be used to reply and understand product feedback.

Third-party services

The website uses Tally for the beta request popup. Tally may process form submissions and related technical data under its own privacy terms.

Changes

This policy may be updated as Tendril changes. The updated date at the top of this page will change when the policy is revised.
